BATMAN! I did this back in 2004 because, well, I love Batman. I used a lot of dry brush and ink wash. I've drawn Batman a lot over the years and this is probably the coolest piece I've done of him to date.

I'm not sure I can give this piece up, but here goes. This is the cover for the Wildclaw graphic novel in Jodi Picoult's novel The Tenth Circle. Drawn in 2004 this was published by Atria Books in 2006. It appears on page 9 in the novel. I designed the logo in photoshop, printed it and applied it directly to the image along with the lettering and the bar code. I love this piece.

Blood, Guts, and Gore. This is page 24 of the Wildclaw graphic novel in Jodi Picoult's novel The Tenth Circle. This was drawn in 2004 and published by Atria Books in 2006. The page appears on page 266 in the novel. All the lettering is on the page. This has got to be one of my favorite TC pages. This is one of the only times I've ever done a montage layout like this and I like how it works. These Tenth Circle pages are on DC comic bristol because I was interning at Wildstorm Studio at the time.

This is page 17 of the Wildclaw graphic novel in Jodi Picoult's novel The Tenth Circle. This was drawn in 2004 and published by Atria Books in 2006. The page actually appears on page 176 in the novel. All the lettering is on the page. I like this page. It's dens with action. It's got explosions, guys getting shot in the head and a man about to turn into a beast. I also like the symmetry of the lay out.

"That Demon used to be my Wife" Nice. This is page 12 of the Wildclaw graphic novel in Jodi Picoult's New York Times best selling novel The Tenth Circle. This was drawn in 2003 and published by Atria Books in 2006. The page actually appears on page 111 in the novel. All the lettering is on the page, which I really like. I think this page is really nice and, like most of The Tenth Circle pages, works well without the context of the other pages.

This is page 1 of the Wildclaw graphic novel in Jodi Picoult's New York Times best selling novel The Tenth Circle. How many other comic artists can say that their work has been on the NYT best seller list? This was drawn in 2003 and published by Atria Books in 2006. The page appears on page 10 in the novel. All the lettering is on the page. I also really like the 9 panel grid, it reminds me of Watchmen. This is one of the most quintessential Tenth Circle pages. I should note that this was the second version of this page and is the version that was printed.

Assassins Guild #0 was 15 pages long, and 5 of those pages were by me. This page is the first of those 5. It was drawn in 2003 and published by Red Eye Press in 2004. I used this as an opportunity to take a break from the very time consuming and intensive style I used in The Tenth Circle to do a lose, gritty style. I used ink wash, splatter, finger prints and scribbles. I think the work achieves a mood that most of my other work doesn't achieve because of that looseness.

My first page for sale is the first page from my first full length comic, Assassins Guild #1 page 1. The issue was drawn in 2001 and published independently through Dime Store Productions in 2006. So much time and work went into this stuff. In those days I was working a day job and drawing at night. Things came slow. This page was probably on my desk for a few weeks. You can see that my Blue Line Art Pro board was upside down, not sure how I did that. All in all, I'd say it's one of the nicest pages from an issue I still really like and think is a lot of fun.
